Hallo Community,

ich habe auf einer MD 7.11.03 seit dem Update das Problem, dass der Icinga Critical für den Faxserver wirft.
Auch nach mehrmaligen Neustart von hylafax oder “Faxserver Konfigurieren” bekomme ich Ihn nicht mehr Grün.

“CRITICAL: iaxmodem procs PROCS OK: 6 processes with command name ‘iaxmodem’”

Korrekt scheint der Faxserver eingerichtet zu sein, mit aktuell 5 Leitungen

Hi,

wenn du beim Icinga selbst schaust, z.B. Status->Tactical Overview bei Service Faxserver. Hier gibts eine “Services State Information”.

der Icinga meldet, dass 2x der hafxd Deamon läuft er aber wie es ausschaut nur einen haben will
Ich habe mal einen von beiden gekillt und schau mal was nun passiert

Jetzt ist icinga grün, aber nur kurzfristig. Zum test mal die Faxkonfiguration neu eingerichtet und siehe da, der Daemon ist wieder 2x da. Also nur eine kurzfristige Lösung.

Re,

der “hfaxd” sollte nur einmal laufen. Für bitte mal auf der Shell

/etc/inti.d/hylafax stop
und

/etc/init.d/iaxmodem stop
aus.
Falls dann noch Fax-Prozesse oder IAX Prozesse über sind, beende die bitte (kill).
Danach bitte wieder iaxmodem und hylafax starten

  661  /etc/init.d/iaxmodem stop
  • Keine Prozesse mehr am laufen

  • Starten der Prozesse wieder

für bitte mal ps -ef|grep fax bzw. ps -ef|grep iax aus um zu sehen, wie die Prozesse zusammen hängen.

Hi,

der zweite hfaxd scheint ein Unterprozess zu sein.
Hast du schon mal geprüft ob in der fax queue noch ein Job drin hängt, faxstat -s bzw. -r.

was ich heute noch zufällig gesehen habe, ist dass er im Log diesen Eintrag schreibt

und dann ist diese ominöse Prozess wieder da.

Den Server “srv2012-00.office.reinisch.de” gibt es zwar in der Domäne, aber was macht denn der Hylafax da?!?!

Hi

Fehler gefunden, es war ein “YajHFC Fax Client” auf dem Server “srv2012-00.office.reinisch.de” installiert.
Dieser hat den Prozess geöffnet.

Eine Deinstallation brachte den gewünschten Erfolg!!!
