You do need to talk to an NTP server or two (or three).

By default, exchange time with everybody, but don’t allow configuration.

Local users may interrogate the ntp server more closely.

Clients from this (example!) subnet have unlimited access,

Die Datei ntp.conf.dhcp ist nicht vorhanden.
Bei laufendem FTP-Dienst lautet die Ausgabe:
root@md7:/etc/admin# ps ax |grep ntpd

Bei stehendem NTP-Dienst:
